This 8 day cruise explores Amsterdam and Bruges plus the home of the tulip-filled Keukenhof Gardens, Rotterdam; and the World Heritage-listed windmills of Kinderdijk.

Amsterdam to Amsterdam (round trip)
Holland in the springtime puts on a spectacular show of multi-coloured fields of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths against a backdrop of windmills and canals. The most famous is Keukenhof Gardens with millions of flowering tulips, intricate flower displays and sculpture garden. The Flemish port of Ghent; Bruges, the ‘Venice of the North’; and Antwerp, the diamond capital of the world all showcase the beauty of medieval Belgium.

Day 1: Amsterdam (D)
You will be met and transferred* on arrival from Amsterdam Airport to your luxury Scenic Tours ‘Space-Ship’. Tonight enjoy a Welcome Reception with your fellow travellers.
Day 2: Amsterdam - Antwerp (FB,L,D)
Enjoy a guided visit to Keukenhof Gardens which have been delighting visitors for over 60 years with its millions of flowering tulips, intricate flower displays and expansive sculpture garden. Included SCENIC FREE CHOICE tours: (1) a sightseeing canal cruise through the cities 17th century architecture in a glass-top boat; or (2) a visit to the charming village of Zaanse Schaans with a working windmill visit followed by a traditional clog and cheese making presentation.
Day 3: Antwerp - Brussels (FB,L,D)
Welcome to Belgium! In Antwerp, choose from the following Included SCENIC FREE CHOICE tours: (1) travel to Belgium’s fabulous city of Brussels where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of this lively city; or (2) discover Belgium’s second largest city, Antwerp, on a guided walking tour followed by time at leisure. Following a delicious evening meal on board your Scenic ‘Space-Ship’, enjoy a traditional folklore performance with local dancers and musicians.
Day 4: Bruges - Veere (FB,L,D)
This morning visit ‘The Venice of the North’ Bruges. On our Included walking tour, be amazed by this fascinating little city with its pretty canals and intimate cobbled-stone streets. Enjoy time at leisure to absorb the captivating charm of this romantic little town as you wander the maze of picturesque side streets each adorned with impeccable ancient buildings representing historic eras long gone. Enjoy scenic vistas as we cruise onto the quaint Dutch village of Veere this afternoon.
Day 5: Veere - Arnhem (FB,L,D)
Start your day with your choice of the following Included SCENIC FREE CHOICE tours: (1) visit the Delta Works followed by a guided visit through the Storm Surge Barrier. The Delta Works are an engineering feat consisting of a complex series of dams, purposely built to protect the population on the Delta plain from treacherous floods; or (2) join a guided tour of nearby Middelburg taking in key sites such as the gothic Old City Hall, which today is home to Middelburg University. With a history stretching back to the 15th century, enjoy time at leisure this afternoon to discover the charming village of Veere.
Day 6: Arnhem - Volendam (FB,L,D)
A leisurely morning of cruising will see us arrive in Arnhem where our Included touring this afternoon includes a visit to The Airborne Museum. The museum pays tribute to The Battle of Arnhem, a crucial part of Operation Market Garden, which took place in September 1944. Arnhem’s crucial role in the last days of WWII was recreated in the movie “A Bridge Too Far”.
Day 7: Volendam - Hoorn - Amsterdam (FB,L,D)
Enjoy your Included tour this morning of the sleepy fishing village of Volendam to see the unusual raised homes of the fishermen and the quaint wooden church. Then it’s on to Edam, world famous for the round cheese of the same name. You’ll see the rich history of the city in its lovely squares, bridges and cheese warehouses. Over lunch you’ll cruise to the harbour city of Hoorn. Enjoy your Included walking tour on arrival and time at leisure before our cruise into the night lights of Amsterdam this evening.
Day 8: Amsterdam (FB)
This morning after breakfast your Scenic Tours Representative will transfer* you to Amsterdam airport for your onward or homebound flight.
